Bea James was living a perfectly normal and boring life, working as a journalist at her small town newspaper and living with her kind but frustrating housemate, Lena. Although she had work and a home to live in, she felt empty inside, almost like a hollow shell. That is, until she first saw the light. After the light began appearing in strange places, other odd things began to happen too. She met a nameless man who didn't seem to understand the world at all. Against her better judgement, she felt irresistibly drawn to him. But as she got to know him, things became more and more bizarre. Who was he? Where was he from?
