So, if you don't have an overall outline helping you to keep your tempo steady, and you just write whatever comes into your mind, it's quite easy for the tempo to become unbalanced. Your story will seem either too slow or too quick to the readers. Either way, it will be a poor experience for the readers.- _shadowfox20dPosted
