wind turbine does break down catastrophically more often than most think, either because wind speed get too fast and the break give out making the wind turbine tear itself apart or because it was not properly maintenanced. also large one are noisy as f***. also wind power is usable but humanity cannot sustain its energetic need with only them its not space efficient enough and need too much maintenance, wind is also a part of the ecosystem and too many wind turbine will also have an ecological impact. just a bit of trivia ^^
