Tempest pushed up from the bed and started pacing in a small area right next to the bed. "That's impossible. It was the first thing Mexyn and everyone else told me when I got here. That I was the only one left. Why would they keep something like there was a human settlement on the planet? Why would they make things that much more difficult for themselves."

author, missing a space there at the end of the sentence. it's weird you haven't had this kind of Errors at all for this whole book so far did you try a new editing program or something? lots of strange mistakes. maybe you were just tired 🙂

I don't know what they will find you, or if they'll even give you options other than the ones they prepared, but now that they're convinced that you can bond a second pet, they are determined to try. What you need to do is understand the skills that they have so that you can build a proper team out of your tamed monsters.
