No, she got forcefully summoned by the Angel and he wanted to steal her soul, but the system killed him instead and she stole his soul. Her real body was left without a soul, and taken over by another Ana (One of the Demon Elders at the outpost)

I'm not really focusing on Romance yet; characters will be aged up as the story goes on, and then it'll play a larger role, but the romance isn't the focus of the story as a whole. I think having well developed characters will make any romance, much more satisfying...

I'm not totally decided; I usually do a super rough draft of a few directions the convo could go in, and then decide on how interesting I think it'll make the book later... Also, the 'having to kill another angel' was because of Adrian's envy of Rita, and part of why he made that request was because he never expected to fail in killing Syrin and taking her soul.

That's fine. It would feel forced if I explained everything straight away, instead, I give hints through the descriptions, and it will become more obvious as the story goes on. She got attacked because the mist pacified them and prevented them from attacking, it also increased the MC's strength; so I was trying to get across the idea that it made them stronger as well, which is why they were so mad.
