Derek and Hansel are literally made for each other. I really love their interactions and how their relationship progresses. Normally I’m more into slow-burn romances but the pace of this story was okay for me. (Plus the smu t was great)

I expected anything but that. To be honest the beginning was promising but it went downhill after a while. In addition to that the writing isn’t the best and has some grammatical errors and such. Hoping the latter chapters will be better (again).

Can I just say how much I love the magic system? It’s so exciting to see everyone use their own magic in different ways for different ways! I especially loved how you described the Flameblade Naois not feeling connected to it. This makes me believe that it actually isn’t his signature spell. On the other hand he had just recently awakened to his magic so maybe he just needs to learn more about his magic? I’m just taking guesses here. Lastly, Akio. I’ve only known him since this chapter but I already love him. he might even be(come) my fav chara of this book. His personality is certainly befitting for a kind hero as he does not boast with his power and tries to help, not hurt, others. Though in Naois’s case it was necessarily and I really hope the fight helped him clear his head and set things straight!
