It’s a bit contemporary (urban) but there are magical elements. If you’d like strategy-based theft with crew members and an anti-hero protagonist as well as bad-ass training and weak-to-strong alongside competition, then Lord of Thieves is something you’d enjoy from, at most, the fifth chapter onward. The writing style will be normal. Nothing fancy but on certain occasions, you will see that literary, fancy writing of which I’m more than capable. It’s just that Webnovel sacrifices quality for quantity — ask other authors here and they willbtell you the same thing. Now that you know about the story, go give it a shot. Allow that “juice” to spiral into effect (which is what I call ‘new novel syndrome, where it’s harder to read and understand the plot than it is from at least the other ten chapters) and you’ll have a great time.

Hey, author here. I figured I’d sit down and talk a bit more about the book upon its debut. First and foremost, this novel is in fact 4 years old. The very first version is dated back in 2018. In the beginning of 2022, I found it, cringed and decided I loved it. So I then started revising it. Everything from the title to the world and the characters were altered. Secondly, this novel is a bit unorthodox. I want to do things my way this time. No system, no forced-themes, no cliches and certainly no harems. Upon reading Soul Spawn, it should feel … different and refreshing. And lastly, it’s quite an amazing story. Everything has been planned out and Soul Spawn has a definite ending. I’ve temporarily dropped all my novels, including “Loki’s Successor System” just so I could focus on planning this one out. Now, it’s all up to me to make it a good read. Since this would most likely be updated daily or so, I’ve made up my mind to go with simple prose and more delicate/detailed prose for special moments or … when I’m feeling fancy. Soul Spawn’s chapters are quite long (one of them was even 8,000 words) so I’ve split up the chapters into parts for increased engagement. For now, the chapters will be shorter. Soul Spawn is quite a thrilling experience and I know that if you give it the time, you’ll enjoy it. I’ve learned from my mistakes and I beg that you give me a second chance to impress you! Your typical shameless author review. But it's more of a message to people looking to get into the stories. This book is the first of my 4 smaller book series planned but doubt not if this would be worth your time. I'd like to make some things clear. A couple of things. Firstly, be warned that this isn't a Chinese novel. There is the honing of skills and training and endeavoring for power—but it's in a westernized style of writing. Not Chinese. Yes, "Cultivation" is in the title but you should thoroughly neglect this. Secondly, I'd like to mention what you're getting into. If you've read the synopsis then you should have an idea of what the story is about. To add to that, I'd like to mention that this novel would later become a kingdom novel in a medieval-like time with political intrigue. If kingdom-building, comedy, politics, adventure, and fantasy are what you like, you'd likely find yourself enjoying this. Do me a kind favor, would you? Decide whether you're dropping or resuming your read here only after at least 50 read chapters. Now, you may read the story. Forebye, drop some reviews to support its growth.
