Why would it terrify them when he is to stupid to follow up? He should finish them the same night.
Didn't he join the military?
Haven't you done this before?
I feel like you are fishing for encouragement. I am going to give some. I think this is a surprising gem. I associate the type of title you have with boring gimmick stories. I guess this is a gimmick story, but with a surprising amount of insight and flavor to it. People are often looking for the same thing over and over when they are reading stories. Sometimes they are upset when they get something out of their comfort zone. I read a lot of junk. I have low tastes. I think most here do, but your story is a cut above average so far.
I'm giving this story a very high rating. I think it gets better as you go along. I found the early chapters less interesting than the later ones which is unusual. The MC is decent and his philosophy is pretty nice. The world is pretty crazy, and just getting good after a couple of hundred chapters.
Yeah I can see complaining about this, but it's pretty reasonable. Why should the sect let people in and get benefits for nothing? If there is no benefit to the sect for letting in disciples why would they have them? The kind of sect that gives stuff to disciples without getting anything in return makes no sense.
I've thought many of his decisions to be dumb. This is definitely the dumbest. This imp gains powers from everything it eats. Even if it doesn't kill them or get to eat the whole thing. The area around the city has the biggest smorgasbord of corpses and dying creatures anyone has ever seen. He should give it a bite out of everyone in his command including himself, and his echos/shadows. Making sure it gets to eat a finger bone from himself. Then take it on a tour of the battlefield including such notable corpses as itself, (the beetles wont have eaten the bone armor) and Goliath its stone skin at least is available. But there are thousands more to eat and with 5 shadows on it and Saint guarding it, the imp can probably swim through the loose dirt to eat corpse after corpse and victim after victim, including the human awakened.
I was inspired by the writer's prose. I think his basic writing skills are excellent. I couldn't continue this after the first few chapters unfortunately. I felt like nothing happened at great length. I was reluctant to give up, because it is rare to encounter such good prose on this site. I think that there were a few too many cliches in the story, as well as a lack of conflict at the beginning. I think the focus is a little off as well. For instance, there was essentially nothing of the interaction between the MC ant 'fatty' that explains how they became friends. Zero details about the struggle to earn enough to avoid being evicted. Endless tedious discussion about the research into card masters, and trying to activate his card. Sadly boring stuff. Your English or your translator's English is to be commended though.
That's going to make it hard to keep the government from realizing he is a player.
Song is simply being stupid not planning to go back there right away. There obviously would be lots of good stuff even without monsters to grind on.
I think you mean 9.9%. 99.9% would mean those 10K machines cost 10 coins.
Shouldn't Sunny have to say he has blackmail material on me?
He should kill them for the reward.
Now he's reminding me of the Martian Manhunter.
He's really getting dumb. Throwing Lex Luthor into his research space is a harvest like winning Superman's friendship.
And the batteries die in a matter of days.
I guess he wants to leave some money for the burial.
