Well, apparently from what I read he is unable too some reason as for the headmaster the talks of the future just turn into random questions about him and his work. atleast that is what I believe.
Since I couldn't let Dumbledore deal with everything, I had to step in when required to ricochet events off their planned stages. The first year had relatively little to alter, if anything at all. The Philosopher Stone would remain protected as long as Harry Potter and his usual trio went doing their usual stuff, and since death didn't enter the equation until the fourth year...but perhaps, I could avoid the entire Basilisk accident? - Jack_Hayes1yrCommented

It may be hard to write but just know that this is a very good story and I'm lovin' it so far
So this story continues to be bloody damn hard to write. Not gonna sugarcoat it. I don't know if people are still with me on this and I don't have a posting schedule. Some chapters are just difficult and I don't know if it's the pacing or the plot that I'm struggling with. - Jack_Hayes1yrCommented
just a question but why is he letting these people walk all over him and solving all of their problems for them? this is kinda putting me off reading it.

This is a very good novel, the character itself is unique for me as it's not just the typical betrayed Harry and the comedy with Jack Sparrow is very enjoyable However the only downside to this novel is the mistakes in capital letters when starting sentences. Otherwise a very good novel and I would recommend.
