So reading this, I will definitely say it was a fun and engaging read. The plot is straightforward and simple, with the pacing nice and not too fast. The characters themselves are engaging to follow and their interactions are nice. Criticism wise, I guess I could say that maybe the overall grammar and syntax could be better, but that in my opinion is largely superficial and can be rectified. In short great story which I would highly recommend.
that's messed up ... where is the filial piety :(
Self preservation- I respect that.
Let me start off with something first- I typically do NOT like story with systems especially with overpowered protagonists. However I will say this Erix story and progression was something I find myself enjoying. Typically this genre of webnovels sacrifices character development in exchange for overpowered power fantasy yet I can safely say this is not the case for this story. Erix's progression and his relationship with Rin and Shota is something I feel the author has done a good job on, introducing relevant supporting characters feel very real and well done. Additionally, Erix himself does not feel immediately overpowered, instead much of the earlier chapters focuses on his internal struggle which I feel is great move by the author to flesh out his character. In short, the story is one that I'll recommend whether you are fan of the genre or not.
sure thing 👍👍 I'll add it to my library
It's an interesting read with a more philosophical and introspective theme to it. Reading the interactions of Mr.Bee and the Officer Gray and experiencing 1st hand their ideals and perspectives on society was something I did enjoy. Criticism wise, I would have to say that some of the dialogue is too clunky and dense, making it hard to follow at times. Other than main issue, there really isn't much else to say. Conclusion: it's a good read if you are tired of xianxia, cultivation, system, and other genres or want to experience something new.
The story is overall engaging and has excellent flow. Despite being relatively fast paced, the plot is easy to follow and dialogue between Iris and the main character is fun to read. Regarding the obvious allusions to Tokyo Ghoul, I could only see the similarities once the author mentioned it explicitly, yet these parallels in no way detract from the overall quality. Criticism-wise, there really isn't much to say- I guess perhaps the Main Character could be fleshed out and developed more (there are only 3rd chapters at the time of my review making this assessment quite premature). In summary, excellent story-added into my collection!
Man might actually be mistaken as a pedo when he's over 18 :(
Overall the story reads very smoothly with good flow and structure. In particular, the I enjoyed how the author switches POV around the different characters offering a wide range of unique perspectives. Criticism-wise there isn't much to say, the only issue I really noticed was that the grammar (mainly punctuation) was off occasionally, which in my opinion is something incredibly minor and easy to fix. Overall its a good read for a mystery novel, one that draws the reader with its descriptive language and engaging plot.
Overall the premise does seem interesting with a good take on the whole super power psychic genre so far. The main character is well characterized and unlike many other stories on this site does not immediately become overpowered(a huge turnoff to me). Criticism wise, I would have to say that sometimes parts of the Liam's monologues feel a bit too clunky which might not help with the overall immersion. Other than that, this is a very nice read if you are looking for the story in the super hero/superpower genre which is decently developed and not a simple instant power fantasy.
