But, That was what happened in the anime after minato killed those iwa shinobi, the elders wanted to refuse the peace treaty hiruzen offered but ohnoki accepted since their forces had already dimished and because it took just minato to stop the attack. Here its the first shinobi war, every nation still has abundance of shinobi to send to fight, and the battle wasn’t as one-sided as minato vs 1k shinobi. so they have no resson to sue for peace

Why?
The clan has settled well since vacating the former clan compound, and since then I've primarily focused on increasing my current skills alongside the other clan members. Sadly, I've reached the peak of mastery with the Gunbai and Sword so I had to focus on a different weapon. With my immortality, I can take the time to master various weapons and fighting styles. And 'the Arnis fighting style' is what I decided to learn.
