I think it was more of a response towards what they saw as bigotry. They did state that they are Arab so they most likely have experience in these regards. But in all points, the text doesn't even say anything about the changing of tradition. If it does then it's very minor things. A popular leader would be plenty enough for a minor change in culture.

Sucks that those bad comments got to you. but eh, though a more ambitious Iraq was semi expected from me, this is definitely a good ending for a alt history novel. 9/10 mustard is the world's biggest mistake so the lack of its removal from the world is worth a negative point.

Even with boxes it confuses me how she would be able to secure all of this after the crash. Wouldn't there be at least a dozen people that would gang up and steal from her at some Time? or the items could also not end up with her in the first place

the USA would just be the USA but in a world where a lot of people died so there are a bit less americans.
Such was also the case for the US and European bases. Each of them also took in various nationalities into them. Isn't it a bit too unbalanced to do that as the ratio? That's 150 stats points. 1:1 or 1:2 makes a lot more sense. especially if it's a game
When I was getting ready for bed my mom came in with a thin gold chain with a metal medallion. She showed it to me and when I looked, I saw the medallion had etchings on both sides. She told me it was her sisters and then placed it around my neck. It was a bit too big for me, so it fit right over my head and she did not even need to unclasp it. "To keep you safe" she said and then tucked me in. Once I was alone, I looked at my character sheet and noticed that I hit level two. That was why my magic was stronger. All my spells increased, and I got new ones. I also got fifteen points for my attributes which I could convert if I wanted to into skill points at a 1 to 10 ratio. That is to say one attribute point could become 10 skill points in something of my choosing but since I could learn skills and my attributes have not increased on their own I did not see this as a good option. - Hoosier_Plays2yrCommented

I then moved onto the world information. I was in a world called Istaria. It had 5 known lands (but it also said the world is flat so who knows) that four were connected to each other and looked kind of like a lizard biting its tail with water inside and outside of it. The fifth nation was an island in the middle of them. The display showed the landmasses covered by a fog of war with the exception of the little area that my thirteen year old body had gone to beforehand. Above the blacked out areas were the names Shaila, Udros, Ickrana, Ofrait and the island was Endalasia. Each land had their own style of governance, dungeons and rulers but most of it was not revealed. The information seems to be a reflection of what I would have been taught because I had a lot more information for Ofrait, the country we lived in. Ofrait looked like the upper part of the body minus the head with a clawed arm reaching into the water. Other information was that we had a royal family as rulers, slavery was banned but other races were still looked down upon because of past wars, there were 5 schools of magic inside our city and our economy was mostly based off crop exports. - Hoosier_Plays2yrReplied to Daoist1Angel2Ch 2 Making ALice
