The starting sub section of the first chapter grabs you by your collar and never lets it go. The intriguing character of Prof. Mathew is amazingly established but I think is a bit underwritten. I love the dialogues, almost feels like a movie but it sometimes feels theatrical. The student characters are also likable and their banter also adds to the fun of the first chapter. You can immediately imagine as these thin fat duos in college. Again, ending the sub section with a cliff hanger. The policemen are amicable but their characters are very distinctly defined and very beautifully done. This world is a mix of reality and sci fi, which immediately reminds of the genius Kaufman movies. The starting chapter is quite interesting but in my opinion, some rewriting is required. Other than that, seeing the author's other work as well(which is also great), I am really intrigued about the further proceedings of the web novel!!

It's quite gripping from the start. One of the major pros of the web novel is that it never dwells on descriptions like others do. It's precise and keeps the pace, atleast till now. Although the location is never mentioned, I am assuming it might be somewhere in the states. The humour is on point. Although the characters are never fully described, you quite get a good sense of how they are and what they are. The story quite feels like a cheerful Murakami style and I think it's quite evident in this work that the author is inspired by the great Japanese author. There is a mysterious aura in the novel, which almost feels like a thriller story but quite keeps with the slice of life genre as well. It has really intrigued me to know what happens next. Can't wait to read more.
