For all those years, I realize that what I really wanted is a hug. Not words to console me or a joke that makes me laugh again. I just need someone's warmth for me to realize that I am not alone in this battle because I have someone to lean on when things get difficult to handle alone.

He came to my life unexpectedly, like summer in the midst of winter, like a hope in the middle of defeating battle. Despite the comfort and indescribable feeling that flutter my heart, calm my chaotic mind, and ease my fears. Deep down, inside my heart, I am scared that the summer he brought to my cold winter season will collapse into the dreary fall one day, and the hope he gives me will be shattered into pieces.
