I don't remember what the fic was about as it's been 4 years, but the likely reason why I said that I don't like mixed anime world is that his world was probably cut up and joined in one from many different animes, which is REALLY different from chat group worlds, sure there are alot of different worlds in chatgroup fanfics but all of them are still separate from each other unlike a mixed world.

Pretty sure it was mentioned in the earlier chapters.
