This might be a bit of a stretch, but hear me out. We’ve already seen giant structures being moved in and out of existence in the story, and considering the recent developments with that black hole thingy, it’s not impossible to “blink” an entire planet out of space. Now imagine this: they're at war with a fleet or something, and they’re expected to show up at a specific location for a space battle. But instead of arriving with a fleet, an entire planet blinks into existence and starts blasting the enemy with lasers. How sick would that be? And now, stay with me here, what if it’s not actually a planet, but some sort of massive ship or structure with a planetary shell? That would explain why the pillar was on that specific planet, of all places in the universe. And yes, before you ask, I do have e life outside of reading novels, it's just not nearly as interesting
I understand your points, but I have some poinsts of my own. 1. I don't think that moving a space station is something that can be easily done, must have a lot of bureaucracy and easily traceable. While a planet can't be moved (at least that we know how), it is hidden and it will be safe for quite some time, I believe. 2. The planet has it's own oxygen, food and water sources, meaning she doens't need to spend for it. 3. If she can manage a station with bots, she can do a planet with them, and if she can't, there's a whole cult of fanatics to do it.
I mean, they do have a private planet now, so a space station won't be the best investment
I believe it to be a joke
