And it also makes it seemed forced because you want him to get stronger and didn't thought of any other way so you just did that even though the fusing of Naruto and Kurama can be done later where instead of kurama doing the Baryon mode why not just do a scene where Kurama proposed a fusion like what you did. You really didn't need to rush it.

Let's hope you don't make it dark for the sake of making it dark because many writers does this dark scene which can totally be avoided or changed in a way that it's not forced like Naruto absorbing Kurama which can be done in a different way which make it seem like you did it because you want you want it to be dark.

Seriously like everyone said this is a spiderman fic sure the mc isn't originally Peter but the spider that bit him isn't some dude who reincarnated as that spider and could control whether the person he bit gets power or not, it's the same spider but for some reason the mc practically didn't get enhanced like he's supposed to be which means that spider scene was totally unnecessary because it didn't change him at all it could've been a fic where Peter gets spider power's and gets more stronger than the original using the system and if you think that's gonna make it some wishfulfillment fic then you should research marvel because thanos isn't the strongest villian and spider man isn't nowhere near thanos.

Is choosing villian still cliche because in my experience being a villian is what everyone chooses especially fanfics after all it's ever teenage's dream during their edgy phase but then again I'm 21 so I'm past my edgy phase and now finds overly edgy things kinda cringy.
