And that explains it... how? You can't mean to tell me that, "Because of a man who is a near-forgotten national hero from 60 years ago just decorating the curriculum of the Second World War within storybooks, we now know how strong and can approximately judge the strength of knights appearing out of nowhere with estimations of the rare visuals of them walking around outside." I don't see the reasoning here, if there was any.
You forgot the -
How have they reached this assumption? When there hasn't been a single scene that showcases ANY of the knights in question utilizing any sort of skill, even with the surveillance? A bit too much focus on everyone's POV and the lack of showing the MC doing anything is the problem here, though.
This is what happens when one does not know how to stop stretching an seemingly interesting prologue out over 20 chapters instead of 1-5. Repeat-Repeat-Repeat-Repeat.
You're right, though it seems for the sake of "Bashing" a repeated champion of various leagues, even if I'm not a fan, I think Ash's journey lasts longer than this fic's MC... x)
And to "Verify the validity" they choose to test the one who has proven himself to be physically superior for no reason? If you go by this logic, why isn't Gaara the one to be tested? Lmao, he's been stuck in the same spot while 2-3 Kages are literally watching the match. Fuck the validity if even they cannot verify anything, what gives a no-named proctor any reason to?
I'm confused. Is this you playing with your audience regarding Ysera's choice of putting her hopes in Varus and promptly forgetting about it in the next chapter? Or is this you cooking up the plot? I guess I'll wait and see. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
If this is what the so-called future "Dragonking" is built on, I'd feel sorry for every single subject under his rule, a spineless twat with power, yet unable to repay a single debt of disrespect. His personality thus far has been a rollercoaster. He is unlikable and narcissistic, acts like he needs to hide his power like a cultivating protagonist, and is a flat doormat for everyone to step on. Fucker can't even verbally respond to threats, If this isn't pathetic for a future "Dragonking" I have no idea what is.
All I see are unnecessary restrictions in order to prevent the MC from becoming too strong for the plot. At the behest and cost of the parent route, why would you go this route instead of simply making him weaker from the start? Going through all this drivel just to keep him grounded for no other reason than simply doing so is putting sticks into your proverbial wheel, causing whatever point/plot you want developing to crash face-first into the asphalt.
.... Again? Isn't this like the third time he receives the same kind of lethal backshot? xd
