Since the MC lives in the Nasuverse World it makes sense that he becomes paranoid since his restaurant can connect to other worlds, which is basically Second Magic/Kaleidoscope and considering the typical Magus is the type greedy for knowledge to reach the Akashic Records/Root, they will try various ways to get the restaurant.

yeah what's the point of a Gamer system that can make the MC a God via Grinding, rather than one weapon that only has the ability to double strength every 10 seconds and the ability to penetrate defenses if the MC can learn the same active skills that can be learned.
