Hi Tiny Psalm! I am in love with your stories! But I wanted to point this out to see if this what what you really meant to say. I’ve seen it several times in this book. Defile means to make unclean. Defy means to stand against something, someone’s authority or command. Defiling is the process of making unclean, or destroying the cleanness or goodness. Defying is the act of taking a stand against something or someone.

"Drakmor was said to be a deity," Maximilian said. She was currently massaging Eve's legs. He volunteered to do this because the shoes and clothing in this place were new to Eve. Instead of using magic to ease her pain, he insisted on massaging her instead. "Deities do not die," Maximilian said. For some reason, Eve could feel the certainty in his words.

Vamping king? I love this story but please fix typos
"The Vamping King Octavius was well known for his peaceful approach. The vampires are less as they cannot procreate. To make themselves stronger, they rely on their connections and relationships with the other races. I would not be surprised if the Sylvarian King owes him a favor or two. That is the reason why they would never miss a chance to flatter the vampires. As for King Aldric…." Counselor Windemere sighed. "It is still better to be prepared. We do not want the council and the Elders raising even more questions about this matter."
