I'm pretty sure that they are afraid of him because he is the Ultimate Enemy. In say, Mondaiji terms, he would be called Last Embryo. Last Embryo is a final trial of Humanity which, if failed, means extinction. In Nasuverse terms, he would be a Beast. Maybe even something much scarier, like Ultimate One of Pluto.
