I get what you mean. Its a big con for a story to have girls falling for the mc from time to time and author will just brush them off after awhile specially when one of those girls have ton of potential. But I dont think that its the case for this story. Hopefully. So you dont have to worry

After 1500+ chapters with that long dumb arc, the author finally coughed up an mc who is a hypocrite, egotistical, and narrowminded. Honestly this story is pretty great ( except for that long ass arc) but the Ves is the only thing wrong with this story.First he cares about the people around him then he doesnt. He is also an extremely dull and boring character. Imagine having barely any friends and the ones he still has trouble trusting (Ketis is an example) She was one of the best characters worthy of being developed further but noooo as always the good characters are always pulled away like Raella, Ketis, Dietrich, and the mech pilot who became an expert after ridin that titan. Instead we get the likes of Melkor who is one flat character and a few others. If you cant write a good mc or an mc with proper emotions then at least leave us with good side characters.
