Lucky for me I'd napped through half my classes, and gotten something in my belly by then. I'd perked up. I did the math, and if he collected 50 particles a day, he would get 18000 in a year. And it would take 5+ years to form the core. I love the continuity of this story, and seeing it increases over time, it isnt a miraculous achievement, but a logical process that the story set up!
