That's even worse. It's like If J.K Rowling casted a black kid as Draco Malfoy. It changes everything. The whole background of the characters then has to change. Draco is suppose to be a copy of his father, who was a copy of his father. So you have to make the whole Malfoy line black. So they no longer have their iconic blond hair. Same thing with PJO. The half-bloods are supposed to take after their godly parents in looks. So Athena must've been made black, and Zeus as well. It's not in any way accurate to the books, or to the Myths themselves.
Okay. This revelation(that everyone was expecting) is bad enough, but then my mind started singing part of a song from a musical I've been listening to recently. 🎵You'll never want to eat human flesh again🎵
Man I loved that show as a kid. That, and Ben 10 were some of my top faves. Thought about borrowing some excuses from "The Wheel of Excuses" more than once, but thought at the time it wasn't worth the time out I'd get.
Completely agree. The movies, even though the second was quite rushed, were actually pretty good if you hadn't even heard of the books(which my family hadn't and ended up spending a long time criticizing the movies after we read the books). And I had high hopes for the series after I heard Rick was gonna be really involved in making it. Those hopes crashed and burned after I saw who they cast as Annabeth. Annabeth's appearance was mentioned so, so, so many times in the books. And to just disregard all of that, for their political agenda, made me not want to even try the show. And then I watched the first three episodes anyway, and WTH Disney and Rick!? She isn't even a good actor! And so much was changed in the show, it seems to be only loosely based on the books. Very, very loosely. Which I hate. I can't stand things not being accurate. When something isn't accurate, it irks me so much I usually drop it. Unless it's good enough for me to just try to ignore how much it irks me and continue watching/reading it anyway. Point is, with how much Disney's changing my childhood favorites, it makes me want to throttle them, and then throw them into Tartarus.
Yeah.....No. No, nope, nada, nine, niet, nayc, naas. Anyone who knows Star Wars, knows about the chips. The biological control chips in every clone. And this is cutting a bit too close for my taste. It'd be cool to be in a VR Star Wars, but I wouldn't risk it. Then again, I'd be able to be a Mandalorian. Maybe. Would I risk it? I don't know. Doesn't matter anyway. Even if something like this was ever released, I wouldn't be able to afford it.
Hmm... my dad died at 40-41 of colon cancer. Was diagnosed at 30. So I'm supposed to get a colonoscopy at 20. Not gonna though, cause I don't want some stranger sticking a long ass camera up my butt. I'll just die young thank you very much.
The Order of the Fried Chicken!
My dad refused to get rid of the devil cat, and I don't remember what happened to it after that.
