There are a few good ones on mtlnation if you can stomach machine translations…
In the synopsis for his previous story he said he’d post it to royalroad as well. Maybe give it a try?
No offense, but can we not do editor notes? I’d rather have bad grammar than untopical commentary throughout the entire story… :/
You’ve already stated he can’t feel the exact location of «magical core». I think that rules out soul-sense, correct me if I’m wrong…
Contingency plans are meant for when something goes wrong with the first plan. Something went wrong with this one, so now it’s time for a contingency…
Really looking forward to reading more of this story, I hope you can let us know if you decide to stop translating so I can mtl the rest :)
Mate I somewhat agree with some of your earlier statements, but at this point I’m just laughing. There’s a time and place for everything, and Webnovel is not the place for aggressive feminism. People like what they like, and even if I personally won’t be reading this story I can keep my opinions to myself without getting offended at someone daring to have a different outlook than I do. Take a chill pill, my dude. You need one.
The End of the Magic Era is, to me, both really enjoyable, and a bad story. The world and the magic system is really fun, and the adventures of Lin Yun and co. are oftentimes quite exciting as well. There are also aspects that are… less stellar. Many people complain about about the endless brainless villains- that complaint is legitimate; most humanoid villains are cartoonishly evil/dumb. Apart from that, though, the story is pretty decent. I can’t in good conscience rate it highly from a technical standpoint, but I would honestly recommend you give it a try. As long as you turn off your brain when the «young masters» come along, or otherwise enjoy the «face slapping»-trope, you’ll have a fun time.
