Yes there is. Do you know that most people don't know how to keep birds as pets because a good number of popular options are in fact, not domesticated. An average parrot goes through five homes, and dies in a cage. Their shrieks are loud, and they aren't able to as easily pick up words as main stream media makes it seem. There's too much bird abuse in this novel. Overall, I would rate this novel 5/10. Bad novel. Do not read. Birds deserve to be treated nicely. If you abuse birds, what's to say you won't abuse your mom? Exactly.
