I snapped out of my dark thoughts at the sound of Minato's and Mei's loud voices and noticed that my nails had dug into my scarred palms. Causing some blood to seep out. I quickly created some bandages with my Construction technique and wrapped them around my palm.

I can kinda see ur point but imagine u adopted a dog that’s been in ur house for I dunno 5 years and you wake up one day walk into your kitchen and see some random dude just standing there. You going to trust him? I for sure would be creeped out.

no like you should have said sharingan was one of the three main dojutsu's the other two being byakugan and rinnegan
Sharingan was one of the three visual ninjutsu.

Just make it so as he grows he unlocks more of kakashi's abilities? Kakashi at one point had both so just make so he hasn't awakened the second one?

One of his eyes was an unusual red and black over it, coupled with a three tomoe, this was the three-tomoe Sharingan.
