I really find this quite hard to believe. It wouldn't have hurt him to bring the kid in and raise Naruto himself, or have Kakashi, or literally any of his most trusted Anbu do it. Hiruzen did so little that it really pissed me off. There's no way he wouldn't know about how people felt about Naruto. If not by seeing, he'd at least overhear something, it's not like Naruto was born rebellious and a prankster, those are acquired traits.
The fact that I finally knew who he was cleared up the lingering questions as to why I felt sad when I heard his name. It was because of Hiruzen's death that I stopped reading Naruto. I liked the guy. He was good natured, and attentive, to a degree, to the young Naruto. - JakePerez3yrPosted

Read a chapter and a half and I have to say, I have no clue what is going on... everything just goes by in a flash. You really need to chill with the story progression. Take your time to tell the story. I don't even know what the MC and his friend look like, or even the mother. All I do understand about the MC is that he's a sighing factory until he met his friend, which then he sorta did a 180 on his sighing and seemingly quit? Sorry if it sounds rude, *I just really wanna help!*

I've seen this before, it's the obligatory, shameless, author review! I'm gonna be honest with y'all. This is kinda weird and scary, to just, out of nowhere, post a story I've been thinking about... my first one, at that.
