I really think you are missing something here, because there is never a time she doesn't use the abilities she gets when the situation calls for it? I have no idea what you are talking about with the trading ability (Scrooge McDuck maybe, but that doesn't make sense as she used that very well when needed.) but she uses her abilities when she can use them. A lot of them are limited in where she can use them, or it makes no sense to use it when she has a better problem solving tool. Something that was noted very early on is that the MC is not very smart. She relies on the intelligence of her companions a lot of the time. If you feel like she is getting dumber, it is probably her having less intelligent people around her, and not her actually becoming dumber.

Wish Webnovel would let fans translate this already. Such a great novel, and I may never be able to read what happens unless I go look at MTL (which for this kind of novel, is nearly impossible to read and understand).. I just don't understand, y'all refuse to let fans translate it, even for free, but also refuse to continue translating it...

The author is still writing it, webnovel dropped the translation for it. The original (in chinese) has 1600+ chapters.

Oh my god, Lin Sanjiu... I am not sure if I am horrified or amazed at her cruelty. Not sure I could be this cruel even towards my worst enemy. Doesn't mean I don't think he deserves it though.

It is really dumb and lowkey sexist of the author to a man's genetics so much more important than a woman's. Lin Lan's motivations would have still made sense without that. If her genetics account for 50 percent of her child, then she would still need the remaining 50 percent to be strong for her child to be outstanding. Therefore her goal to become strong enough to meet a strong man would still make sense, without the illogical "man's genetics count for more" bull****.
