100 Ves is the standard of a normal Bright Warrior at full saturation not the Quint. It's an absolute value rather than a % scale.
Oh no. This is a flag. Ves is going to be running away from a huge coalition of enemy fleets because the Wodin fleet ran to him after pissing everyone off.
Showing interest is the first step towards defeat when you're vulnerable to money-slaps.
"What do you mean he doesn't like Hexers? We're perfect." -Gloriana.
Women are quick to resort to stalkerish behaviour while rationalizing it at anything else.
The cat is right. You need to undergo rehumanization.
Supprised she didn't say 'Yes honey, I know a bunch of Hexers who would love this opportunity'.
Again? You've barely digested the last group of hires. The LMC is going to turn into EA fast.
This is a great way to disillusion anyone who draws a line between Ves's large scale boosting session and the drip feed he gave afterwards.
That's kinda a bit less than I was expecting. Wasn't the Quint supposed to be Ves'r than the Bright Warrior even before the massive expansion from Joshua's breakthrough?
So after a round of brainwashing?
I really don't want to know what kind of adventurous play the Hexers like to engage in.
Usually the client doesn't design it themselves and tell you to magic it.
I think it's more that they don't want to associate with a 'strong independent man that don't need no woman'. They recognize that he has skills but they also think he's a wildcard that might descend into a genocidal murderous rampage with superweapons at the drop of a hat. The Hexers want to control male influence rather than saying that they are more intelligent and capable (although there is a lot of that too).
Gloriana has a point but she's forgetting (or completely ignoring) that Ves doesn't have the same priority list as her. Hexers are pretty much last on his priority list. Heck he'd probably want to sabotage them if they weren't currently rabidly attacking his mortal enemy.
Authoritarianism's advantage at work.
"Wait. Ves can do that?" -Olson. It's like shooting at a fair target only for it to shrink in size avoiding your hit.
And that they were useful without being used on mechs.
This is about as helpful as Opposite Essence.
