I was around about chapter50-80 when the novel was still growing and you were starting to put out chapters regularly. I stopped reading to let chapters build up, and came back only to realize why I left. You do an amazing job with monsters, and describing fights. The drama is what killed it. I’m sure you’ve gotten better, but Elise is ends up unlike able. Plus a bloodthirsty Mark was amazing to see. That high left seeing the early stages of character interaction worse off than mediocre. Then the inner demon stuff ruining the pinnacle of the arc. It’s a sour taste into face slap after face slap. Thankyou for being interactive and I’ll gladly be checking out your other works. This didn’t end up being for me, but I’m excited to see what you’ve done recently.
When do they argue? I feel like the author needed another couple chapters to flesh out his characters.
Dude I stopped at about 117. I gave it a real chance, and desperately hoped it got better. Unfortunately it never did. I understand thinking something like this is good relatively because of the position in ranking, but please don’t act like it’s god tier. It’s the same old power trip fantasy that a few whales on the app gladly shill money to. The concept is great, and honestly what held me for so long. The issue is it needed much depth than author was able to provide for someone like me who is jaded to the power fantasy concept. My opinion still holds for the art primarily holding this comic together. For the time the art team behind this was solid, and consistent. The story just lacked heavily.
It’s been a minute since I came back to this novel. I’m parked at 529 because I told Syph no more until he started releasing chapters like normal again. Plotholes, and bad storytelling nearly ruined the novel early for me. What kept me was the growth in quality over time despite the stumbles here and there. I gladly poured hundreds of dollars into this despite the fact I was broke to see it pan out, and support Syph. It’s a good story overall if you can stomach the holes, but I can’t recommend it all. Unfinished as it is with the errors, and the lack of ending will only leave you with unfortunate regret as the novel progresses into something you enjoy only to be ruined with no updates.
So do I every deer season. Do you realize I’m talking about games and such, or do you think I’m talking about real life in a comment section section on a novel?
Not in games, or novels. It’s all DEXTERITY is required to use this bow, and it’s only affected by dexterity.
Nah man this is my opinion. I was a little heated because the plot was so bad, but it makes sense because these are power trip comics. Back to the original bit though I’m just as wrong as you are right. It’s all opinions when it comes to this. I see a trash plot because of insanely immature characters that are supposed be in their 20’s yet act like high school kids with no life experience that even carries over to the ’adults’. You see gold. I read a useless person not a brilliant innovator scientist. Plotholes riddle this comic, and I’m done with it.
I gotta say this a good quality story. I think the biggest upside is just the mentality of the MC. He fully encapsulates a monster in human skin, and he is written well. The main downside is of course the update rate of the novel, but I can’t blame the author for having more success with other stories.
You trying to say something author? 🤣
