another day, another set of chapters that don't seem enough or move things forward enough, and waiting for tomorrow to come and do it again.

I wonder if the ridiculous number of dreamers that they heard when entering wasn't the others that came to the river, but just their number multiplied by a number of loops. it would also solve the time issue. if they experience loop after loop logically even though their time resets the world outside carries on. Sunny has brought up this worry more than once. But if the time truly resets and thus all loops happen simultaneously, how long the successful loop is the time that passes outside. Otherwise that's soo many years it would be a different world all together when they get back

I'm no way onboard with those who hate Casey. Or for some reason think I'll of her as a person. She is young and in an insane situation. She saw the future and is trying to change it with information only she has. Which is where the problem lies. It's the future she has seen, she is the one making decisions to get to the result she desires(which in no way means nepharis in any way). It is only in a moment like this where she is giving a real choice by giving that information to another. Everything up to this point were also choices but uninformed and orchestrated to get specific actions taken. And it may still be that at this moment. We don't know for sure what she saw. She saw this conversation and decided for it to happen this way to eliminate other variables to make it these choices and portray it as only these choices. This can be what she thinks is best, what she feels is right, but got to that on her own without her friends or the readers.

This is the problem in writing with characters that can see the future. By nature it robs other characters of agency, under-cuts big moments and character development thus robbing the story of depth, and when it eventually leads to that character giving someone a choice it almost never really is. It was almost never satisfying for either the readers or the characters involved.

it's not completely selfish. I'm not saying she doesn't care about him. it's obvious that she does. But she isn't doing all this for him. She is doing this for her own goals and one of those goals is doing this for sunny, but if sunny wasn't part of the picture here it would be someone else. She said she wanted to make him a weapon against fate. "Wanted" indicates alot and she may very well be giving him this choice at this moment, but this 'maybe'(could be exactly what she says) another manipulation to get the result she wants.

she went through all this trouble to break her fate. She said so herself. Sunny is what inspired her from what he said and motivated her by what she did to him. Sunny is here because she needs him and wants to undo her actions that hurt him. Instead of giving him an apology as a friend. If sunny wasn't here she would still have done this
