Read books
I thought that was obvious, but I guess not. Previous comments on this chapter were deleted following revisions, but I've clarified everything within the text itself. I also added some other comments to clarify the situation, so read them if the text wasn't clear enough. Maybe they can shed some light on the situation.
I missed this. Thanks
I'm doing a rework so there are differences in the numerical values.
It's true but only partially. The clones might be dead, they could be away, they could be there but still be far, it doesn't last for long anyway.
I'm doing it. It's a slow process though.
I know. I need to get there to add them, I reduced their presence because readers got mad, but again, I was inexperienced, and freaked out a little. The status from the most recent chapters are better made, in the latest ones they are slim but complete. I will add them as soon as I get there, don't worry.
The quests, not the system
Well, consider that I created the book following some rules. There aren't actually any growing powers. Now, imagine him saying he had the first growing power in history, something that no one, not even the already rare awakened, had; that would worsen the situation. There are other reasons why he prefers to fight melee or use other powers. First, Erik hates his birth power because it is the cause of his suffering; second, he needs to train and learn how to fight. Erik has low amounts of mana, meaning he can't rely on brain crystal powers that much. What Erik usually does is use very low amounts and use them at the right moment. Other people just use them for the duration of the fight as you see later inside the story. If Erik wastes all his mana, he is a dead man. Aside from this, I was also much worse at writing back then, and this is most likely why all of this isn't clear. I actually assumed it was easy to see, but I later learned that what is obvious to me is not obvious to others. This is one of the reasons why I am reworking the book.
I still remember when on MHF2 I dreaded trying to kill the Rajang.
