Heifeng does not chase quick cash. He builds capability: chips, hardware architectures, operating systems, manufacturing, and the supply chain needed to ship at scale. His first major move is a flagship smartphone line that arrives “too early” for the market, forcing rivals to respond and pulling China’s entire consumer tech scene forward by brute competition.
Over the years, the same playbook has expanded beyond phones. What starts as a desperate turnaround becomes a long campaign to break foreign tech dominance and assemble a super-scale technology empire that reshapes multiple industries worldwide.
