I dropped this story for about half a year, and coming to read it again now I realized that I really was quite lazy with the execution of the story. I was planning for the mc to separate from rimuru and go on his own way after this fight, but I realized that the world of tensura is bigger that I thought when I watched a recap to volume 11 of the LN I didn't know how to complete the story. I started this as a fanfic thinking it is easier and I don't have to do much world building, but in the end the world building of the original became my downfall. Do you think this could still be saved or should I start over? and thanks for the comments.
