depending on what elf lore you use. in some lore elves are ageless and immortal. a thousand years would be the utmost maximum with the idea that magic extended the lifespan in this case. but on the lower end of lore, around 5 to 6 hundred years would be average life expectation. so 100 to 120 in human years of age.

you're only in the story when asleep, and you wake up normally as normally no different. it basically provides you with a realistic fantasy that you get to look forward to each night, nothing else. I see no issue.
