especially if that ability is a mere by-product of the original it just makes it even better. Imagine people to fight me and think I have a teleportation ability that allows me to teleport to only places in my vision within a short distance, just for them to come up with a counter ability, trap or plan to beat me just for me to reveal that my teleportation ability can actually teleport long distances with no cooldown or restrictions at all. And then they are shocked scared and their plan falls apart, only for me to be snickering in my mind that my true ability is actually time manipulation and im just fucking with them knowing they'll never fully comprehend the extent of my ability.
