A couple points of critique I feel should be mentioned. As paranoid and worried about betrayal, he would have never taken the thermos in case it was drugged. He put up all those cameras, motion detectors should of been placed as well with alerts going to his phone. He should know if someone is in his yard long before they hit the door. He spent all this money fortifying the bunker and has hidden access, he should of put in sound proofing materials as well so even if people broke into the mansion they wouldn’t know he was there. You’ve said he got this directive from the system, but haven’t really shown any interaction with the system beyond the text above her head. So is the system really forcing him or is it his own psychosis? One last opinion of mine, sleeping with them to give them powers does not necessarily mean opening up and letting them in/trusting them. So I would say the focus of his struggle should be if he gives them power would they use it to betray him not how can I open my heart and trust again. Also, having a tranquilizer gun stashed in case of instant betrayal would be prudent.

Yeah…this seems basically impossible. If he is living in that bad of an apartment, he obviously has no money. So how would he get the loans for a mansion and the renovation?

So… he’s at an orphanage. I’m guessing since there is bunk beds, he is not the only one there. Wouldn’t shouting draw attention?
