Yeah, surprisingly this didn't feel like AI which is an achievement. In this case I would say that you are using AI the right way, where it doesn't feel tedious to read. Some authors thought, abuse AI and are a bunch of lazy bums that don't put any effort in to make their stories somewhat readable.

I forsee that he uses her love for Minato to make her obey him and gradually twists her psyche until she becomes unrecognizable to Minato. So, in order to protect Minato she will become something that Minato hates and will reject her when he sees what she has become and this will cause her to spiral further and firmly become the MC's woman.
