Not meant to hurt author, but the story sounds like a cut and paste from different books. It's not flowing like a novel/good novel should. Have to discontinue reading

The descriptions above are a bit faulty .You can't be lying down practically drunk then have enough energy to 'slap' a HEAVY man and he staggers back.

What was he doing with an heirloom in a hotel? Was the one night in his own home?
