honestly haven't seen one of those recently. most of the pet novels I've seen are more cultivation adjacent types where either the pet is needed to cultivate or they need to both get together to fight regardless. in fact one quite similar to this one was really good. but the author got his account hacked and stopped posting. God realm has been described as a single massive dome. it gives off the vibe of being a single flat plain with extreme size all fit under a massive dome. given everything else I'd imagine that it is a complete sphere.
