It's is no weakness to accept help. Being able to do things on your own is all well and good, but that in no way applies to training. You will go farther, faster, and better if you have help training. And in a cultivation world where having that help is the difference between life and death, at least if you don't have MC plot armor, then yes it is stupid not to accept help. Because when you come up short because you didn't have the resources to properly train and die, then it's your own stupid fault for not accepting help when it could have actually helped you. You have to fight your own battles, true, but not to take every advantage you can while training and learning is literally idiotic. Especially in a world like a cultivation world. Without plot armor he'd already be dead. Part of the reason I dropped the story. Unfortunately it's hard to find cultivation stories where there MC doesn't have some ridiculously stupid character flaw that just ruins the whole thing.
That has nothing to do with morals. The word you might be looking for us principles. However, if your principles are making you make nonsensical stupid decisions it may be time to reexamine them.
Not sure why I'm just seeing this response, but 250 centimeters is 8.2 feet. I'm pretty sure I stopped reading this story, so I can't remember who was supposed to have the watermelon sized stone, but even one of those Japanese ball watermelons would be a bit oversized from what I remember, much more so if it's a mid-size regular watermelon.
I know exactly how the "real world" works. It was part of my job in law enforcement. Again if y'all are just cowards or have no morals, just admit that don't act like people that aren't cowards and have morals are somehow in the wrong. 😒
No. You being stupid makes you feel stupid. That's kinda how that works. If you read something smart that you barely understand you feel stupid. So if you're feeling stupid it's because you are.
Was going to ask this question as well ..
Beating off suitors.... probably could have phrased that better. 😂
Yeah that's what my understanding was as well, but it wouldn't be the first story I'd read where a person was introduced as one thing and then was referred to as something else for the remainder of the story. It's always confusing. Now that I'm reading so many translated stories it seems to happen more often, but still enjoying the story so I can deal with it. 😁
😂🤣😂🤣😂
I thought Xu Ying was a dude?
