Gray landed smoothly, his superhuman reflexes keeping him poised. As he turned to face the creature, he was surprised and muttered with a smirk, "Hello, beautiful." Towering over him was a massive, monstrous beast, hulking and grotesque, its muscular frame pulsing with unnatural energy. Its crimson eyes glowed with malice, and its spiked hide shimmered in the dim light. Gray didn't know its name, but he could sense its power. Without hesitation, he removed the ring on his finger, which transformed into a suitcase. From it, he retrieved his bewitched sword, imbued with Fiendfyre, the cursed fire capable of consuming anything in its path.

But he was getting way ahead of himself; he needed to focus on urgent matters, which was trying to obtain more permanent potions. He then turned to one of his notebooks, which had a list of all the permanent potions he had consumed. "So far I have consumed 10 Wiggenweld potions, with each one having 30%, 2 Arcane Elixirs, both with 200%, 5 Swift potions, each with 100%, and 5 Troll's Might potions, all with 200%, which did make me the monstrous 12-year-old I am. But it's not enough." He sighed. Of course, it wasn't enough, given the dangers of this world, the ones he had not yet encountered. Gray was determined to prepare for all of them.

"Hello, Sebastian Blood," Gray's wand—or Rachel, as she was called—greeted him. Suddenly, a crowd of figures wearing red robes surrounded her. Although there wasn't any malice in her voice, the way she spoke was far from friendly. She conjured pure darkness to wrap around Gray as Sebastian looked at her, shocked. "You… you've recovered, it seems," he muttered, before glancing at Gray. "Huh? I didn't think you would actually bond with a human wizard, let alone protect him," he said with a smile. "Oh, Lord Trigon would enjoy this." At the mere mention of Trigon, Rachel's expression morphed, her eyes glowing white as she exuded pure darkness, covering the skies entirely.

It was then that the spell the woman was casting hit. Immediately, Gray, who was in his Animagus form, felt cold—colder than he had ever felt in his lifetime—as strong gusts of wind carrying heavy white snow suddenly descended. "You shall bear witness to the might of the White Queen of Narnia," the woman said as she stood in the middle of the storm. Before Gray knew it, he was flung so hard and so far that once he finally flew into something large and hard, which was a literal mountain, Gray lost consciousness.
