(Posting this review at just over 20 chapters) The updates have been consistent so far. There are practically no noticeable spellng/grammar errors. And itâs very clear the author is doing their research, not just on the One Piece world, but in many other varied topics to help flesh out the more finer details of the story. It is pretty slowed paced though, not that I particulaly mind. All in all this is a really solid start. Hopefully it doesnât get dropped đ¤
The ants go marching one by one. Hurrah! Hurrah! We slaughter termites just for fun. Hurrah! Hurrah! The ants go marching two by two. Hurrah! Hurrah! Theyâll all be dead before weâre through. Hurrah! Hurrah! The ants go marching three by three. Hurrah! Hurrah! Were off to face our destiny. Hurrah, Hurrah!
I really loved the speech Licht gave at the end there. He makes such a good point. One of my favourite comic storylines has Superman asking Batman to train him in a room that emits radiation to mimic a red sun, taking away Superman's powers. It basically ends showing that when Superman actually learns how to fight he becomes a far more dangerous adversary. Just because you have powers doesnât mean you should neglect your basics.
Itâs hard to say with only 6 chapters, but Iâve enjoyed it so far. Iâm definitely gonna keep reading to see where it goes. And Akira seems like a pretty well rounded protagonist too. All in all Iâd say itâs a great start đ
