Yes! I am trying to break this cliché, by bringing an MC from somewhere else than these two common places. Not that they do not have good backstories, but having a South American could make this a bit different.

Short answer: yes, there will be romance. Not right off the bat. Long answer: It will be going to happen, but it would not be rushed. Even if it is a light novel, the character will grow with his relationships. But our ML will not be dense (not too much)
