unoriginal. seems like a very similar Far Shore living sea mechanic.
The red moss, the vermilion grass, the tiny Nightmare Creatures, and the larger abominations that were yet to be born… all of them were in a hurry to be born, grow, consume, and propagate before turning to ash. This is getting more annoying to me. If G3 wrote at the end of the last Volume that we were half way through the story why are these chapters being written like an epilogue? The Winter Beast as enemy that caused Sunny so much trauma and sadness should have gotten some dedicated chapters for the battle and his emotions/thoughts afterward. Poor writing and a cop out again.

I am starting to get annoyed that most of this chapter is going buy talking about pancakes and waffles. I can't believe I am paying for this. I see that I will have to take another break until the story picks up pace again.

I am actually disappointed by this turn of events. Seems a bit lazy (I may be wrong depending on how it progresses) to remove Sunny from the Nightmare spell and so that the author wouldn't have to write what happens to him or his appraisal by the spell. This is my second major disappointment after killing off the echo of the Saint in a few chapters. Seems lazy.
