Author has some serious mental issues. MC treats women like lessers and even ra*ed a woman; his two ‘consensual’ partners were groomed by him from an extremely young age with a significant mental age gap. Typical power fantasy with zero regard for character development or struggles, and without any semblance of a real plot. This is a disgusting excuse for a story written by a sick, sick person. If the author ever reads this, I hope you can somehow figure out how to burn out those repulsive views you have from your brain eventually.

I think the fact that it is the specific series of events strung together that bars it from becoming a subgenre; it's not like it's a particular setting or vague storyline that this novel is taking inspiration from, its specific plot points and events. In my eyes, that is a rip-off; though from what I remember the novel got much better later on, it's been quite a while since I've read it though.
