Good to see this get updated.
Good to see you back. The chapter, as always, is amazing.
I don't have a problem with the arc itself. What I mean is that: The fight between Jack, Doma and Hercules is lackluster, it lack any kind of impact. The power level of Doma is left ambiguous and poorly explained. This sudden jump in power is so abrupt it feels bullshit and wholly undeserved. The dialogue feels forced and contrived to make Doma seems like this genius manipulator but it just doesn't come off that way to me. Instead of him outsmarting worthy opponents it feels as if he was the only smart person in a room full of idiots, which doesn't make him impressive. The internal monologue of Doma oscillates wildly between being amoral and unfeeling and as some kind off, idk, bizarre excuse as to why he does what he does and why he is sooo smart and nice and powerful. Not only does it seem self serving but also juvenile. In short, the quality dropped staggeringly over the previous week or so. I don't want to sound condescending but maybe it would be a better idea to post chapters every second day or so, to polish their quality as while this fic wasn't by any mean perfect it didn't nearly as many glaring issues. I hope you take this in the spirit in which this comment was given, a criticism, and not baseless hate.
Honestly, I feel like the quality of writing dropped substantially after Doma came to the Records of Ragnarok.
Wow, in the devil society this is arguably a fate worse then death. Love the ruthlessness.
I like Puck and your writing of him. I will be honest, at first I was sceptical, Re:Zero fics are incredibly hard to properly write due to RBD and the sheer variety as well as depth of each character, but so far you have delivered very good attempt at them, even if I don't necessarily like the way RBD ties to the protag I can see the need. Otherwise Subaru would just be a Deus Ex Machina and that just isn't fun.
Ah, I forgot: B Hard B
I have been reading this from nearly the beginning and seeing a true ending to this brought me immense amount of joy, I will be reading your other fics and cannot wait for what you will write next.
I like Naoya, or more accurately I find him entertaining but I am getting kinda tired of his unreasonable hatred for women specifically. I'm all for a villainous MC with drastic, hateful and uncompromising opinions but I really don't like that after so long we still don't get any explanation for this hate, any explanation would be fine, like he simply finds being misogynistic funny or something along those lines, even if it made no logical sense. I want him to somehow articulate why he feels this way or why he behaves towards them as he does. It's especially jarring since as readers we have pretty good idea of what kind of man Naoya is but one of his most prominent character traits remains unaddressed, especially when most of interactions Naoya is in is with women. It makes him seem more like a caricature of a character than anything else. Sorry for word vomit, I really like the story otherwise.
Let the slaughter commence I guess?
