I agree entirely, but I felt like I needed to introduce a rework to his quirk bc if he can just swallow everything like Kirby, the fight scenes won't be that entertaining. The short version is when he gets hit by anything modified or created by a quick, he can absorb some of the energy from the strike. In the exam he didn't fight anything with a quirk so it didn't activate. My idea was to rebalance him so that he has to release pent up energy from taking damage or else he overheats and passes out. I just raised his skill ceiling but tell me if this makes sense
What you have pointed out is absolutely true. First, the MC is reincarnated after living a life with no responsibilities or cares. He has no moral character, so when faced with responsibilities, he will complain. He is injured because he knows nothing and overestimated his own strength. Being in a coma is just a handy time skip because I really don't want to write ten years of him just training and going on missions. As for him waking up and doing research and training, why wouldn't he? I think most people would change a lot if they after being in a ten-year coma. You're writing this review only after the fourth chapter. The MC isn't supposed to be perfect, the character needs to develop, and I don't think it would be much of a book if his character arc was complete before 10 chapters.
First of all, the time skip is necessary cause I don't want to drag through five years of a kid being trained as an elite assassin. Nothing much would happen and it would just leave people bored. Second, maybe I could have done a side plot where he goes on a mission, but I thought having the house attacked was a good way to demonstrate a power base. Third, the mc doesn't have a 1 billion bounty. That is Kikyo, his mother, who was the target of the mission. Fourth the Zoldyck family doesn't have guards on the outside, so you could just go over the walls or through the main gate if you are strong enough. And as for Silva being on a mission, Idk information can be bought.
I'll be the first to admit this is my least favorite chapter in the book
fixed thank you
tama won't be important to the storyline
Soren doesn't want to forget his past, he sees them as a symbol of what he's gone through and survived.
