I hate how this man lives as an orphan and when he has a family, gives up absolutely everything he dreamed of doing in order to provide for his family but then is beaten when he is forced to become something else. he wasn't told that their desires get amplified until the damn day of that it happened..... just not good character design as far as the dad's concerned.
